Before the customer makes their contractual declaration, they are expressly informed of this restricted selection and of the specific insurers on which the advice is based. The selection takes into account professional criteria, value for money and the customer’s wishes.

Important information
The specific market selection and the names of the insurers on which the advice is based are provided in each individual advisory case.
The initial information must be provided to customers in good time at first business contact, in a clear and understandable form on a durable medium. Publication on a website alone is sufficient only if the statutory requirements are met.
Professional regulations

- §§ 59–68 German Insurance Contract Act (VVG)
- German Insurance Intermediaries Regulation (VersVermV)
The professional regulations can be viewed and retrieved on the website operated by the German Federal Ministry of Justice and juris GmbH at www.gesetze-im-internet.de.

Type and source of remuneration
Our activities are remunerated through:
- brokerage commission included in the insurance premium and paid by the respective insurance company, or
- a specifically agreed payment by the customer, or
- a combination of both.
- The applicable form of remuneration depends on the wishes and needs of the respective broker’s customer and on the insurance products that may be arranged.
Complaints management
We are here to address your concerns. If you are dissatisfied with our advice or intermediary services, you can submit your complaint directly to us. Mr Wladislaw Siegfried is responsible for handling complaints. He is familiar with complaints handling and personally reviews your concerns.
You can submit your complaint by email to wladislaw@siegfried-makler.de, by post to Mr Wladislaw Siegfried, Richard-Wagner-Str. 56, 95444 Bayreuth, or by telephone using the contact details above. Please describe the circumstances and let us know how we can contact you.
Recording and handling
Every complaint received is recorded in the internal complaints register of the sole proprietorship concerned. We document the date and channel of receipt, the complainant and the reason for the complaint, as well as the acknowledgement of receipt, any forwarding, interim updates, and the date and content of the final response. We allow the competent Chamber of Commerce and Industry to inspect this register at any time. We continuously examine and assess the complaints-handling data.
We acknowledge receipt of your complaint without delay and inform you of the next steps and the expected processing time. We examine your complaint thoroughly, consider potential conflicts of interest and respond in clear and understandable language.
Our complaints handling covers the intermediary activities of the insurance broker concerned, including advice before and after an insurance contract is concluded and assistance with the administration and performance of insurance contracts, including in the event of a claim.
If the subject of your complaint falls outside our responsibility, we promptly explain the reasons and, where possible, identify the responsible body. We forward the complaint to the responsible body and inform you accordingly.
Response and further options
We generally respond to your complaint without delay. If this is not possible, we explain the reasons for the delay and tell you when the review is expected to be completed. If we cannot uphold your complaint, or can uphold it only in part, we explain the reasons and further options for pursuing your concerns. On request, we provide our response and interim updates in writing.
Independently of this, you may contact the competent body listed under “Dispute resolution bodies”. During the complaints-handling process, we draw your attention to this option and provide the address, telephone number and, where available, fax number of the competent dispute resolution body. You can also find these contact details in the “Dispute resolution bodies” section of this initial information.
